Jayvon Morris '26 Recruiting Profile

My interest and love for the game of baseball started as early as 3 years of age when I started playing. I continue to play and compete at every age level to date and continued to improve. My motivation to always work hard, hustle, and never settle for average elevated me above my peers. While playing varsity baseball at Merritt Island Christian I was selected as Community Credit Union Athlete of the week for striking out 15 batters, breaking the school record. I also helped my team win a District 1A State Title. While attending 38 Perfect Game events I was mentioned in 55 Top Performance Articles and received 29 awards such as selection to the Preseason Underclass All American list, Top Prospect List and Top Prospect Team, 14 All-tournament Top Team Selection. I also have worked hard on my academic goals to achieve A/B honor roll. My biggest accomplishment was making my Junior Varsity Baseball Team as a seventh grader receiving MVP award and pulled up to the varsity baseball team the same season and started at short stop for 2 games. While on varsity at Merritt Island Christian I help lead my team to a District 1A State Title. The successes I have had to-date confirm to me that I am on the right track to be successful in the future with High School and College. When I go to college my academic goal is to continue playing baseball and graduate with a degree in Broadcasting. With life goals and dictations anything is possible.
