June 2019 Personal Statement
Throughout my years of playing baseball, I have aspired to play at least at the collegiate level. Playing baseball while in college would be a dream come true.
I lead by example while also encouraging my teammates to perform at their highest level. I have been coached by former MLB and international travel baseball players. They taught me to strive to be one of the hardest working players on the field as well as the importance of improving my baseball IQ.
In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA while taking all honors courses. I am currently a member of my school's student leadership team. I also believe in giving back to my community. I spent the last three baseball seasons volunteering for local youth baseball programs.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the field. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition and education.
