April 2016 Personal Statement
I believe that success is something that isn't handed to you; if you want to be successful, you have to be willing to put in the time and effort it takes. One of my life mottoes is "Tomorrow is not guaranteed; treat everyday like you won't wake up tomorrow." I live by this motto because it applies to everything in my life, whether its baseball, academics, or just being a good person to be around. What makes me stand out compared to other athletes around me is my work ethic, coachability, and effort. All my coaches tell me that I am the hardest working kid they have ever coached. Another thing that makes me stand out is my competitiveness; I always want to be the best no matter what it is.
