My name is Evan Buecker and I aspire to play collegiate soccer while obtaining a four year college degree. I've been playing soccer since I was around four, so I have essentially been a student athlete my entire life. Both school and soccer are very important to me. I challenge myself in both soccer and school and always have an eagerness to learn and get better. I have been in advanced classes and been on the top teams in my club since as long as I can remember. Maintaining this school and soccer life creates a pressure for me to succeed in everything I do. But pressure for me isn't always a bad thing. I thrive in pressure. I can deliver in big games and motivate my players to do the same. I have been the captain for my club team for the past two and a half years and also I was named captain of my high school varsity team in my sophomore year. I have also played ODP for the past three years and played in the SLY National Championship. I know it will be a privlage to play collegiate soccer and I believe I can be a asset to the program I will attend; with not only my technical ability but also my leadership qualities. I hope not just to be another player. I want to be great, and look forward to the opportunity to do so.
