I am working toward playing baseball at a challenging academic university or college. I enjoy challenges in the classroom, and I hope to pursue a field of study related to Math and Science. Adversity on and off the baseball field has taught me that preparation, hard work and grit are the keys to success in baseball and academics. I am last to leave the workout room and first to clean up the dugout and field. My pitching coach has been teaching me how to throw a baseball since I was 8 years old, and his advice and instruction has been crucial to my baseball development. I hope to continue this type of mentor/coaching relationship in college and grow my skills and experience to benefit my college team.
