Aloha Coaches and Recruiters, my name is Daniel Fentriss. I am a 6-3, 230 lb. right handed first baseman and pitcher. I also play third base. As a sophomore (2011), I was honored to be named as all league second team at first base and all state honorable mention at utility. After my junior season (2012), I was honored to be named all league first team at first base and all state first team at first base. During my senior season (2013) the team won the league and state championship, and I was named all league first team and all state first team at first base. I have been playing baseball since I was five years old. I am physically strong and mentally tough. I love being a team member and support my team mates positively at all times. I work very hard and take the game very seriously. I enjoy learning the fine points of the game from coaches and other players. I look forward to competition and thrive on challenge. I never give up and lead by example. I have family in Hawaii and Oklahoma. I am open to attending college anywhere. I have been very fortunate to travel to New York, Oklahoma, Arizona, California, Florida, British Columbia, and Japan, and have thoroughly enjoyed my experiences. I am open to any sized college, public or private, in any division. It is important to me that I be able to receive personal attention in the classroom. My major is currently undecided. My dream is to make an immediate impact for my team. I hope to have the opportunity to discuss the possibility of playing baseball for your school in the very near future. Thank you for your consideration.
