Dylan Sugimoto '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Dylan Sugimoto and I am currently playing Varsity Baseball for Waipahu High School as a starter.  I was born and raised in Hawaii and come from a multiethnic background.  Baseball is my passion and has always been a focal point in my life.  I continue to improve my knowledge and skills in the sport and hope to play at the college level.  My strengths include academic excellence, leadership skills, and a strong supportive family based upbringing.  I believe I have what it takes to lead and lift the spirits and expectations of my teammates.  I truly believe in working hard and leading by example.  I am willing to do whatever it takes to be the best student athlete that I can be.  My immediate goals are to improve my baseball skills and get stronger and faster.  Academically, my goals are to graduate High School with honors.  I'm very interested in the medical and science fields and obtaining a good quality education is very important to me.
