Cody Mueller '11 Recruiting Profile

I am 5'11" and 165 pounds. I have been and always will be a leader on and off the field. No matter what the game situation is, I give 110 percent. Whether my team is leading by 10 runs or down 10 runs I never give up. I would like to go to a Divison 3 college at which I can get a quality education and play ball at the same time. I would like the school to be within the Midwest area, where I can live on campus but still be fairly close to home. My family would qualify for financial aid in order to allow me to further my education at the college level. I am pushing myself to get a baseball scholarship, but by no means do I expect a full ride because whatever money I can get would greatly help my family. I really want to play at a school where I can start as a freshman and be a good addition to the team. I am a team player who picks up teammates when they make mistakes and expect them to pick me up when I make mistakes. I am an extremely coachable player who listens and learns easily from coaches and players. I intend to major in teaching or foreign language because I like to help other people. I would try to teach a foreign language at the high school level because I am interested in other cultures and I have a special gift which allows me to pick up on new languages very easily.
