Blake Welge '25 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing baseball since I was three years old and could hold and throw a ball. Baseball has always been my passion. I would love the chance to take that passion and share it with a collegiate team.

I have been putting in work in the gym since my football season ended back in October. I have also been working on hitting multiple times a week, attending every open gym my high school team offers, and helped with the baseball camp offered to younger kids during winter break. I love to give back by helping with hitting lessons. My Sundays are currently devoted to baseball.

I have been striving to give my all in school and have gotten my grades up to a B average. I am not happy with what I have accomplished yet and will continue to work hard to bring my GPA up to an A average. My high school doesn’t offer class rank, but I am going to push to be among the elite in my class to better myself and set myself apart from other student/athletes a college might be interested in.
