Ayden Niemiec '26 Recruiting Profile

Since I was young baseball has been a central part of my life and I couldn’t imagine not training year round everyday and playing baseball games with my teammates.  I pride myself on being the hardest working athlete in practice, at my training facility and at games.  As an athlete, I strive to be a role model and play the game the right way leaving everything on the field at all times.  Offensively, I’m a patient, high contact, line drive hitter with a high OBP who works to get on base anyway possible. As a catcher, I’ve been complimented for my work ethic, ability to call games, quick feet, blocking behind the plate, and working to keep runners in check. Although my primary position is catcher, I’ve split time as the starting left fielder and have been praised by many coaches for my instincts and first step when tracking fly balls. Academically, I've exceled in Honors and AP classes and enjoy the challenges of being a student-athlete.  I look forward to the challenge ahead as I progress to the next phase of my baseball career.
