Ever since I started playing volleyball in the 2nd grade, I knew that volleyball was the sport for me. As a youth, I competed in soccer and swimming, but quickly found out that volleyball was my passion. Playing volleyball for 7 years has really taught me the most important life lessons that I couldn't learn anywhere else besides on the court, such as teamwork, confidence, resiliency, and leadership. I am constantly giving 110% and applying myself in an effort to further develop my skills and attributes. I would love to continue playing volleyball in college because I love the idea of having a built-in family on and off the court. Volleyball allows relationships to grow stronger and stronger. This is because of trust. I always think about trust because trust is what brings the whole team together. Therefore, I want my volleyball experience to have a life-long impact. Volleyball makes me the person I am today.
