Joseph Stewart '21 Recruiting Profile

 Hi, my name is Joseph Stewart, what I want to accomplish in college is studying the academics I want and graduating with a degree in graphic design/game design. I believe I can enjoy and succeed in that secation. I have been playing baseball since I was 4 and have a hard work ethic. I put the time and effort in to try and become the best player I can be. The drive I have for this sport is one I cherish, I love the game of baseball and it’s something I want to continue in my life. I always want to get better and advance as a individual player and as a teammate. I always try to have a positive attitude and have a impact with that on the field, if I’m in a good mood the team is usually in a good mood. I try to fire up the bench and keep everyone in the game, and pick up players who are down. I want the best for my teammates and want to help them succeed, but also focusing on my skill as a player and developing into the best player I can be. On the field I’m a fast runner and make an impact, whether it’s chasing down a deep or shallow fly ball, stealing a base, bunting for a hit, I use my speed to my advantage. I aim to be a contact hitter, aiming for singles and doubles, to drive in the runner or get on base when the team needs it. Academically, I have a hard work ethic and try to get as much credit and as much done as I can. I’m a positive student, always smiling and trying to make others around me happy and help them when they are down, while focusing on getting my work done. I care a lot about people and always want them to be happy and have a positive attitude.
