June 2013Personal Statement
Since the day I was born, I have been raised in a baseball family. Baseball is the only sport I play and it is life. My uncle Jon has had a huge influence in my life, and is the main reason I am determined to play baseball, and to go as far as I can. He was a left handed pitcher, and was awesome. He could have taken his baseball career as far as what my dreams are. In 2003, he unexpectedly died. He was only twenty-six years old. I play to finish what he started. My goal is what his was. My goal is to give everything I have to the game, give all my dedication to the team I play for, and to go as far as I can until my body says, "no more."
