Firstly, the "longer isn't necessarily better" I find thought provoking. My father is a KISS principle person. My mother, is Irish and feels that if ya keep talking anyone will come around to meet her perspective. So, I will give it a try... without providing too much insight into my upbringing. I will add, I was raised with three other brothers and we all participated in at least four sports year-around. In addition to that, both of my parents were once-educators and for several years now, public school administrators. My two older brothers were and continue to be exceptional role models. My mom says I am a walking encyclopedia. I think I get that from my father; quite the sports and geographical enthusiast. It reminds me of the movie Mall Cop....."Fun Fact For Ya". Regardless, it is obvious when ya first meet me I have little to say because one learns more listening, I think. I adapt. My work ethic is unmatched, except my brother Brandon (who worked three jobs, umpired, and threw 93 his sophomore year in high school in Texas). I strongly believe everything that I am was the ALL Mighty's plan. IF I have a say, I am going to contribute through baseball; anyone since childhood would tell you I am like a cat and I love to compete. Sometimes people like to complicate things. Whoever is reading this should know, I am a grunt, I sweat baseball even in my academics, and I am committed. And, If y'all are not that romantic about baseball... ask me why I stopped competing in football in Texas. My desires are to contribute to society with my intellect and knowledge, however I have a lot to learn and while I am in the process of doing so...my aspirations are to enjoy and perfect the game of baseball for as long as I can. Oh, and why me?- asking anyone who has every coached me or lead me and they will respond the same way. I am a coachable, mature for my age, hard-working, and smart kid who knows the game. I think I just love baseball more than anyone I have ever played with, but I also know there is the GOAT from Alvin Texas.
