Andrew Kaehler '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Andrew Kaehler, I go to South Beloit Sr. High School, ever since I first put a baseball glove on and went out onto the field I fell in love with the sport. I felt a special connection while playing it, more than I have felt playing any other sport in my life. With this being only my second year playing at the High School level I have accomplished a lot while playing, I have started both of my seasons on the varsity team primarily in Left Field, and it is by far my favorite spot to play in. I went from having a DH to having the 4th highest batting average on my team, and I am continuing to improve on the little things to better my chances of playing on a college field. 

Like any other athlete I make mistakes in practice, and in game. I'm not perfect and I am not afraid to admit that, If I make a mistake in the field I make up for it in the batters box, or the other way around. I don't care where I go to college, but I just want to play the sport no matter what. I'm a great candidate for any team because I am hard working, focused, motivated, and hungry to win games. I'm academically motivated so maintaining good grades to be eligible wouldn't be an issue. I show respect to my teammates and coaches alike, and I stay coachable and leave room for improvement, even on things I think I'm already good at. So if I get any chance a playing College Baseball, I am going to take it.
