Personal Statement

Every day I step on the field ready to improve myself and get to the next level. Collegiate baseball is a once in a lifetime opportunity that, I as a student athlete plan to make the most of.

I am a model teammate and try to lead by example by always giving a 100%. I am always looking to improve my game, both physically and mentally. I am a very coachable person and take the necessary steps to be the best I can be not only for myself but for my team. I understand the value of unparalleled work ethic, and I demonstrate this strong work ethic in my daily life, both on and off the field. I believe that in order to be a champion in any aspect of life that I must always try to outthink, and outwork my competitors.

I give my best in the classroom, always finishing assignments on time, and placing a priority on learning. I enjoy volunteering and helping coach my younger sibling’s youth teams, and umpire for T-ball and Little League in our town as time permits me.

I aspire to attend a college that will challenge me academically and athletically, building a strong foundation for future endeavors. I am open to all options, hoping in turn; to find the college that is the best for me. I hope to become a great role model and show my younger brothers and my peers what hard work, dedication, and a positive attitude can help build champions, in the classroom, on the field, and in life.
