I am planning to attend college because it has always been my goal to get a good education. I am very interested in business and plan to get a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. I believe I would be a good candidate for a college team for several reasons. First of all, I primarily bat at the top of the order because of my speed and ability to get on base. I run the bases very well and usually lead my teams in stolen bases. Another reason is I understand the commitment necessary to my teams. Both Freshman and Sophomore year, I was a three sport athlete, and I continue to be a multiple sport athlete and know very well the amount of hard work and commitment necessary to be a member of a team. I have put in countless hours of hard work toward each of the sports I participate in and I believe I am ready to take the next step forward in becoming a college athlete. Most of my days consist of going to school and right after school either attending practice or a game, and then after that, I generally go to practice with my private wrestling coach. When I do get home, sometimes as late as 9:30 pm, I help my single mother around the house, eat dinner, do my homework and go to sleep. I enjoy being busy and I am a very hard worker both on and off the field. In addition, I am always thinking of ways to improve my game and I am always open to suggestions from coaches and others experienced in my sports. I am a quick learner and take pride in all of my athletic achievements.
