My main dream and goal is to play for a successful Division 1 school and eventually work hard enough to earn a professional contract. Baseball has always been my favorite sport and I have striven to be the best I can be in order for this goal to come true. Some goals for me as a player are to reach the upper 80s on my fastball by the end of high school and hit .350. As a junior now my fastball is 84 mph. Three days during the week I get up at 6 a.m. to lift weights at the school to help me get faster and stronger. I believe throwing strikes with all five of my pitches is the key to my high school success, which includes a 1st team all-state selection this past season as a junior. I have movement on all my pitches and I try to get hitters to swing at pitches just out of the zone. I've only walked 18 hitters in 193 innings, with 179 Ks.
