Darby Hays '18 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I was able to play tee-ball, I've been in love with the game. It has always been a dream and goal of mine to play and pitch at the college level. I look to improve a lot here in my junior year and be a key component for my team. I've always been a leader by example and through positive words and actions. I will embrace and accept any role given to me on the team and will be very coachable and open to changes of technique. I hope to find a school that can help me achieve academically as well, as grades and my education are also very important to me. As I have a 3.5 GPA and am apart of many advanced-college courses, along with being in National Honor Society. Each day I strive to be a better athlete and student by going in to lift in the mornings before school, working hard in class, and throwing after school either in the gym or our field.
