I want to play baseball. Period. My goal is to play baseball in college. I understand the work that will go into being a college athlete and I am prepared to spend the time and effort to obtain that goal. I work at baseball everyday. I am on a pitching schedule throughout the school year and I work constantly at improving my pitching mechanics and increasing my velocity with every single pitch I throw. I set goals everyday in baseball and I have accomplished many of those, including playing in the East/West All-Star game and spending the summer playing for Kentucky Baseball Club, competing against other players that push me to be improve.
I think the character trait that sets me apart from other players is that I am willing to spend the time and do the work to be a college student athlete. I NEED to play baseball I NEED to improve. I NEED to set goals. And I NEED to reach them. I respect the discipline of being a college athlete and I think it help me in whatever career I pursue.
