Personal Statement
After getting cut from the high school team in seventh grade, I told myself that if I wanted to keep playing baseball and competing I would have to become the best student athlete I could be. Every time I think about my dream of playing college baseball, I keep this in mind as my motivation in the classroom, weight room, and on the field. I started playing baseball when I was five years old and immediately fell in love with it. Since then almost everything I do has been to ready myself for playing college baseball.
Baseball has showed me a side of myself that I never knew before I started playing, every time I step on that field, I am the most confident person on the face of the planet and I feel like I can do anything. Through baseball I have grown into a leader, a motivator, and most importantly the best teammate I can be. I want to find a program that is the right fit for me and has both my athletic as well as academic needs. From all the work I have done in the classroom and on the field, I know that I possess the tools to play collegiate baseball for your program.
