My goal is to attend a college where I can grow as a student and academics come first. I want to be in an environment that will encourage me to develop the skills to be the best I can be both as an individual and player as well as prepares me for life beyond college and baseball. I have worked very hard over my high school career to improve my skills in the classroom with increasing success each semester. Upon graduating from high school I will have completed more than 60 hours of community service. I enjoy volunteering my time and have been involved in my school and community. I consistently volunteer to help with projects at my school and have received 3 varsity letter for football and 3 for baseball. I understand the work ethic required to play sports at a high level and have put in many hours outside of school sponsored practices and workouts to develop as an athlete. I have played travel baseball since I was 10 years old and will be playing for the Cincinnati Reds 18U travel team this summer after the high school seasons end and I graduate. I am consistently working to become a better baseball player and my work ethic is second to none. I would love to take my athletic talents to the college level.
Thanks,
Ian Meyer
