Personal Statement
My goals for college is to be the best that I could be. To give it my all and later on in life when I look back on my college career, I won't have any regrets on what I should have done different to better myself. What makes me a good candidate is that I'm willing to listen to my coaches, and put in hard work to help my team, and myself excel. My tenth grade year was one of the best teams, I ever played on. Unfortunately, we came up short of our championship goal, but that year opened my eyes on how to become a leader, and how your teammates feed off your energy in tough situations. I understand that college coaches are looking for leaders on and off the field. Becoming a captain over a young team to lead them in the right path, really takes patience, character and leadership. Baseball has always been a part of my life, hearing stories about my grandfather and my dad being an all around athlete, made me feel like baseball is in my blood. My personal goal is to major in Mechanical Engineering, and my athletic goal is to help my team win or continue to win.
