Wyatt Stafford '25 Recruiting Profile

I have played baseball since I was 4 years old. I love the game.  I started travel ball at 7, that team won the Louisiana state tournament that year. Since then I have played for some great coaches and have learned a lot. I have played every position on the field except 2nd but my primary position has been 3rd. I love the challenge that comes with being on the hot corner.  One thing you would find , if you asked my coaches about me, they would all say I am a very coachable kid and I have very high baseball IQ. I work hard every time I step on the field, batting cage or gym. As a freshman I started JV and was DH for varsity. AS DH I batted .282 with 30 RBI's and scored 23 runs. As a Sophomore I started for Varsity at 3rd base. I hit .284 with 19 RBI's and 28 runs scored. I had a really good summer with Impact Sports hitting .480 but my biggest accomplishment was maturing in the field with a fielding percentage at .936.
