Sean Hancock '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Sean Hancock. I have been playing baseball my entire life and have a love for the game. My experiences on and off the field have taught me how to incorporate teamwork and communication into baseball as well as my daily life. I believe I would be a good candidate for your team because I am coachable and collaborate well with others. In addition, I have many years of leadership experience. I attended Baltimore International Academy (BIA), an International Baccalaureate charter school in Baltimore City from kindergarten to eighth grade. BIA focuses on global leadership and international studies. I am currently fluent in Mandarin Chinese and hope to apply for an internship at the NSA this summer.  My family has taught me to embrace different cultures and travel which has led us to extraordinary places like China. I love to challenge myself and have maintained an above average GPA throughout middle school and high school. I have learned how to lead people and create a good atmosphere wherever I go. My past experiences include robotics, Boy Scouts, soccer, and basketball. These activities helped me learn the importance of leadership, communication, and teamwork. My diverse experiences and leadership skills would be an asset to any team. I realize that baseball is not only about athleticism but more about helping others to reach their potential.
