Personal Statement

I have always had a goal of playing college baseball at some level, and my lifelong dream is to play professionally or represent my country in an international baseball setting.  However, I constantly work to put myself in the best position possible to transform these aspirations into reality.

I know college baseball is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and will help me advance my baseball skills while also set me up for my life after baseball.  Although I strive to play professionally like the majority of amateur baseball players, I realize that the odds are not in my favor, which is why I want to use my baseball talent to become admitted to a prestigious institution where I can study Economics or Law to become prepared for a life in the business world (hopefully as an agent or a front office employee).

Although I would like to play Division I baseball, I am open to any level because I truly put education first.

For any coach or scout I would like to leave you with this: I am a very committed person, student, and athlete and I set myself apart with my competitive drive and outstanding work ethic, which, when coupled with my skill and intelligence as a player makes me a solid contributor on any team.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
