Hello, my name is Jeremy Taveras. I am a freshmen in highschool and I attend Methuen Highschool in Methuen, Massachusetts. I am currently 6'0 tall and around 160 lbs. I was born on April 18th, 2007 and am currently 15 years old. I throw and hit right handed. My main focus is pitching, but I do also play outfield. To be concise, I am dedicated to baseball and it is the most important thing to me behind my family. I have a great work ethic and practice as much as I can, and I'm always working to get better. I have played since the third grade and fell in love with this game more and more every day since. In the game I stay level headed and rarely find myself nervous, which is a trait I think has value. My greatest supporters are my parents, and more so my father. My Dad introduced me to the game of baseball and has always brought me to every practice, game, and tryout. I am incredibly grateful for him and evereything he's sacrificed to get me where I am today. I'm very proud of my progress and my constant improvement, however I'm also aware that there is always more work to be done. I will never be content with my skills and will always reach for more. I understand that as a ballplayer, there is always something to get better at. Succeeding in Baseball will always be my main goal in life, and I would love to play college ball more than anything. Although if something were to prevent me from playing and stop my career, I'm interested in majoring business and becoming an accountant. I've also looked into minoring in computer science just to have a back up. However, I know that I am still young, and I have time to decide what pathI want to follow. I am a quick learner when it comes to baseball, and athletics in general, and I'm disciplined and know when to take things seriously. If the game is on the line, I won't be fooling around in the dugout. I'm not necessarily the most outgoing player, and I'm honestly more quiet than everybody else, but I still have the capability of becoming comfortable with teammates, and boosting their confidence when necessary. I take this game more seriously than anything else and it's just about the only thing on my mind.
