Personal Statement
My name is Ron Fancher and I am a 5'10" senior pitcher, outfielder, and 1st baseman from Constantine, Michigan where I have started for my first 3 years on varsity and will continue with my fourth year, 3rd year as team captain, this spring. As a junior last year, I was selected to the 2nd Team All-State team (Division 3) as a pitcher. I have a 3.4 GPA and a 27 ACT score.
In my search for a college, ideally I would like to attend a school in the Southern or Eastern part of the U.S., but I'm very open to other areas as well. Also, I'm looking for an institution that has an excellent physical therapy program or an excellent sports medicine program where i can obtain my degree. As a freshman, I'm looking for a college where I can make an impact my freshman year or serve as a role player early in my career. The size of the school is not as important to me, but I'm looking for a medium to larger sized school in or near bigger cities.
