My main goal is to obtain a liberal arts education at an accredited university. I am a sophomore at University Liggett School & play varsity baseball & basketball for the Liggett Knights. The Knights are currently ranked #1 in Michigan Division 1 by Prep Baseball Report & State Champs Network. An article in the Detroit News recently featured a 1-hitter that I pitched for the Knights. I also play outfield when I am not pitching and am hitting well after conducting off-season workouts with Casey Smith (D. J. Lemaheiu's hitting coach).
I have played baseball since I was 4 years old and travel baseball since I was 8 years old. I will play for The D Las Vegas National Showcase Team again this summer. I was the 2014 USSSA AA World Series All Tournament MVP and have been selected as a top prospect by Perfect Game & Prep Baseball Report after my performance last summer. Perfect Game has also selected me as a 2017 Rawlings-Perfect Game Underclass Presason All-American - Honorable Mention. I also made the All Tournament Team last summer in the 2016 Perfect Game WWBA 2018 Grads/16u National Championship (Cartersville, GA).
My favorite position is pitcher. I have a selection of 5 pitches currently with a top fastball velocity of 84 mph and strike ratio of approximately 90%. The D Las Vegas is one of the most competitive 16U travel teams in the country. I will continue my development with them for the next 3 years along with work with a personal trainer in Troy, Michigan.
I have superior academics (3.611 GPA), strength of character and a superior work ethic that will greatly assist any college that I play for in the future. I am currently 6'02" tall 185 lbs and have a regular workout routine at 16 years old. I did not attend any winter showcases this year choosing to develop with my hitting instructor and personal trainer gaining 10 pounds and improving my athleticism. My current ranking with PBR will improve after I attend their Top Prospect & Michigan Futures showcase this summer.
