Personal Statement
My name is Owen Graves I'm a freshman born in 2002 in Traverse city Michigan and I'm here to tell you about myself and goals. I have linked videos taken at the Crossroads Baseball Prospect Camp @ Eastern Michigan University on June 18, 2019 at the bottom of this statement. My goal is to graduate college with a GPA of at least 3.8. I do not know what field of study I would like to enter yet. I want to play college baseball. One thing about me that is different from anyone else considering academics and grades is that I work very hard on my grades. One thing about me that is different from everyone else considering athletics is I work hard every minute even when the coaches aren't looking. Another advantage I have in athletics is I play 3 sports so I am never out of shape and on top of that I lift whenever possible. I go to school at Kingsley High School. I was an all-conference cornerback as a sophomore on varsity football, as well as the starting fullback and #2 QB. Our football team went 8-1 during the regular season and won a district championship. I am a 2-year varsity player on the basketball team. I was an all-conference, all-district and Traverse City Record Eagle All-Region Dream Team ( https://www.record-eagle.com/sports/local_sports/all-region-baseball/article_230c02c6-a2a2-11e9-8620-5779ce9ca500.html) infielder as a sophomore and a 2-year varsity starter on a baseball team that has a record of 51-20 during that time period.
