Sante Valdez '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sante Valdez, I am a 2024 student at Bishop Foley Catholic High School in Madison Heights Michigan. I lead by example on and off the field by focusing each day on continuing developing as a student-athlete and as a young man, who inspires to leave a lasting positive impact. I volunteer my time at several Michigan Veteran’s Foundation events in Detroit, Michigan working with service members as far back as the Vietnam War. I also enjoy spending time cleaning up local parks in the Royal Oak, Michigan area in order to help raise our communities’ efforts in being a well-rounded place to play for children of all ages.

I strive to lead through remaining coachable and consistent in my preparation on and off the field. This allows me to continue to optimize my performance under high pressure environments, maintain composure and adapt when faced with challenges. I have a love and a deep drive for competition and sport. I have been active and competitive across 4 varsity sports in high school and play at a high level within travel and AAU teams in the off seasons. I have aspirations in playing collegiately at the highest level of education and baseball.

I believe my abilities as an athlete, my desire to embody a character of hard work and determination, and my intentional approach to be a successful athlete and academic are all traits that would make me a great fit for your team.
