Since the age of 9 years old I have been a three-sport athlete and had a natural ability for football, baseball, and basketball. As long as I could remember everyone would say how athletic I was or how I could play any sport that included a ball. What I have learned along the way is that all the “natural ability” in the world will make you good, but it will not make you great. To be great you must make the time to put in the work and know the importance of that. Each sport has taught me the importance of being coachable and what teamwork really means. I find I enjoy pushing for my personal best, but I really find fulfillment in bring my teammates along with me. I want to win; I want to win individually, and I want to win as a team. I enjoy the game, but I come to win.
I have been team Captain in all three sports during different seasons but found baseball has been where I found my passion. I been affectionately titled as the teams Swiss Army Knife, reliable in any situation and can assist where needed.
I am a student athlete, and I made my grades a priority and am able to balance the workload of both academics and team commitments. I have been awarded the Scholar Athlete award multiple times and believe this will make me very successful in balancing college academics and athletics. I look forward to being a contributing, valuable member to any school and team I am a part of.
