Caleb Upton '12 Recruiting Profile

I am Caleb Upton. I am 18 years old and have signed to play baseball at Hinds JC for the next two years. I have a solid 1.9 pop time and have hit some 1.8's and have consistently hit for over .400 my entire 4yrs of HS. I was a three sport athlete and excelled in all three collecting all region honors in all three sports and all state in football and baseball my junior and senior year. I also was selected as Team MVP in both football and baseball my junior and senior year. I was selected to play on the State Allstar team and was named in MS top 50 players. It is my hope to play at a quality program after Junior College whether it be division 1, 2, or 3 while at the same time, offering me a quality education. I am also an honor student and have been a member of the National HS honor Society my entire 4 yrs. of HS. I graduated with a 4.2 gpa and scored a 28 on the ACT. I believe I can compete at the D-1 level but I am not limited nor confined to only play at the D-1 level.
