My dream as soon as I joined the baseball world was to someday get recruited by a college and be able to play baseball at the next level. I provide an important aspect to a team: I show leadership, an ability to work with others, and intelligence. Other things about me include; spending quality time with friends and family is very important to me. School has been my biggest priority as of lately, my goal is to maintain straight A's all through high school while taking advanced classes, which has been going great thus far.
Athletics wise, I provide a variety of attributes like a power-speed mixture, along with the capability to pitch well. My strong legs and core give me the ability to put lots of power behind a ball as well as run at an elite speed for my age. My weight is at 175 lbs and I am 6'0 tall, and I can run up to 21 mph and maintain that speed for a good amount of time. In pitching, I can sit at speeds of 82 mph, but I am working to improve these and by next year be able to touch 90 mph. I have a wicked slider that is almost unhittable when thrown correctly sitting at 69-71 mph. My change-up can vertically drop by a foot while sitting around 72-74 mph. My two-seam fastball can sit at 79-81 and has a good horizontal cut. I can play multiple positions: 3rd base, 2nd base, Pitcher, and I play outfield. I provide multiple different attributes that can work well into a line-up.
When it comes to the type of schools I want to attend, I am not very picky...I would like to be along the East coast or in the Northeast. I would also be open minded to the West coast or the SouthWest such as Arizona. The reason being is, I love the geographic location of these areas along with I have family located in those areas; which family is a big part of my life like I stated before. I would prefer to go to a bigger school and more academic based, I thrive in the classroom and I want to continue to challenge myself to get smarter. My desired major would be in Physics and Math because that is what I love to do now. I would also enjoy learning about different cultures; specifically spanish countries as spanish is a class I am enrolled in.
I believe I would be a great fit for any college out there based off my attributes and want to be able to make my dreams become a reality. I set the bar high for myself because I believe I can do anything if I set my mind to it. I am excited to see where my baseball career goes and I know with support from my family and friends, everything will workout.
