Personal Statement
I love the sport. I started playing around three years old and I knew it was the sport for me. I believe that I can lead teams out of difficult postions, I can be somewhat goofy at times but when it’s time to play and get serious, I turn the switch and I play harder than anyone on the field. No matter where you need me or when you need me, I will be ready, I will learn a whole new postion if I have to, as long as I can still play the game. I either want a degree in Vet sciences or a degree to become a physical therapist, both I believe are attainable and realistic. What makes me different is what I’m willing to do for our team to succeed, in the dugout when I’m not playing I always wear my shin guards in case I need to warm up the pitcher before a tough half inning, or to warm anyone up in the bullpen. I was also a varsity wrestler which I believe has helped me become more conditioned and more disciplined, I believe that I can outrun anyone that I can come across, maybe not in speed but I believe that I can run longer than anyone on the field. Some of the players call me a utility player becuase I can be anywhere and I will find a way to succeed. I’ll be honest, I’m not the smartest guy out there but I will do anything to make sure my academics are good enough or above so that I can help the team win.
