Personal Statement

Having just completed my Junior year at Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School (MICDS) in Saint Louis, Missouri,  I played my third year as a Varsity starter for the baseball team.  For the third year in a row, I was awarded the Alvin J. Shuchart Varsity Pitching Award for demonstrating the highest level of ability, determination, sportsmanship and enthusiasm.

Completing a successful Spring season where I was 6-0 and pitched 42.7 innings with a 1.96 ERA, 55Ks and 15BBs, I was awarded Second Team All State, as well as, Second Team All Conference.  In our State Championship game on June 4th, I threw a complete game to guide my team to a 7-3 win and the first baseball State Championship in school history.

Working hard academically, I have made Honor Roll each trimester in High School. Currently, my unweighted GPA is 3.71.  MICDS is a private school with a very rigorous curriculum.

This summer, I am playing for the 17U St. Louis Prospects with tournaments in Cincinnati, St. Louis, Nashville,  Atlanta, and Joplin, MO. You can view my summer schedule with the Prospects on my NCSA profile page.

Playing baseball at a high level academic college has always been my desire and I have always loved being on the field.  I practice almost every day of the week, and workout hard with my trainer several times a week.

Please take time to view my academic and athletic information on my NCSA profile page.  Continuing to work hard both academically and athletically, you will find nobody that will work harder and love baseball more than me!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
