Personal Statement

I have been a 2 year varsity starter for the Valley Park Hawks and I also play in the Summer for the Recruits Baseball Club. I consider myself an athletic and smart baseball player who can play infield, outfield and pitcher. I play multiple positions in High School and for the Recruits Baseball Club. I am primarily a middle infielder and outfielder. I am also a reliever for both teams. My High School team finished last year ranked 2nd in Class 3 baseball. We lost in the Missouri State baseball championship game of Class 3. I work very hard in the offseason to get better every year. I was a 2nd team All- Conference pitcher as a Sophomore and have been on two all-tournament teams in Perfect Game tournaments the last two summers. I am also a 3 year varsity starter on the Valley Park Soccer team.

I work just as hard in school as I do in athletics. I am a member of the National Honor Society and also a leader in the summer for the Kids of Victory camp. My current GPA is 3.44 and with my weighted honors classes I have a 3.88. I plan on taking the ACT this fall and hope to score over a 27. I am very strong in Math/Science and plan to pursue a degree in Business or Sports Therapy.

This fall I am playing varsity soccer and also baseball with the Recruits Baseball Club where I plan to sharpen my skills under the direction of our Director, Todd Stein. My goals for my upcoming Junior year is continue to work to get better and get back to the State Championship game with a better outcome than last year (we lost to South Callaway). I would also like to be named to the All-Academic State Baseball team. I hope you are able to see me play or be able to reach out to my coach to learn more about me as a person and a baseball player. If you would like to contact my High School coach or summer coach please let me know and I can provide the contact information for each of them.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
