Bryton Guckenberg '12 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Bryton Guckenberg. I live in Trego, MT and go to Lincoln County Highschool in Eureka. I am a junior this year and would like to study wildlife management to be a game warden in college. It is my dream to play baseball in college. I have been playing baseball since I was 4 or 5. I was on an all-star team at 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14. My team made it to State when I was 12 and 13 and won State and went the Regionals when I was 14. I have been playing on a club team (American Legion) as Montana does not have highschool baseball. I have been a starter both years and led my team in homeruns both years. I also play basketball and football at the varsity level and I am a captain/starter in both of those sports I am a hard worker and I have been a team captain. I try to be at practice early and sometimes stay late to work on skills in all sports I play. It is my dream to play ball in college as well as do good in academics. I have a 3.5 gpa at this time and hope to bring that up even more before I graduate. I would be interested in going to college in a smaller town somewhere in the western part of the country as I am interested in hunting and fishing and would like to become a game warden when I graduate from college. The division level doesn't really matter as long as I get to play and utilize my skills as a ball player.
