My name is Tyler Jackson, and I am a 6'4 190 lb class 5A starting varsity catcher from Las Vegas, Nevada. As a junior in high school, I am very competitive and a hard worker, as well as disciplined and focused on my work. I do whatever it takes to be successful, and I am always working towards my goals athletically and academically. In the classroom, I have earned a 4.6 GPA (ranked 7/756 in my class), received an academic letter, and achieved straight As throughout my entire academic career. My hard work has also shown on the field, as I earned a starting position on the varsity baseball team as a sophomore on the number 6 ranked team in Nevada and earned the 2023 All-State Academic Team Award, 2023 Second Team All-Conference Award, and was selected to represent Team Nevada in the Geico High School Baseball National Championship Series. What I look for in a college is a coaching staff that will work with me to further develop my skills, and help me become the best player and person that I can be. Academically, I look for colleges with good business and marketing programs that can enhance my education and provide a great foundation for my future.

- I was selected as a sophomore to play for Team Nevada. We competed in the Regional Tournament and went 3-0, earning a trip to Dallas to compete in the National Tournament.

- “Under the Lights” session on Saturday night where each player will go through practice like the Longhorns do. This will include all skills training (hitting, pitching, fielding, base running, arm care) and on-field batting practice. Sunday camp includes gameplay in front of the Texas coaching staff, a limited player-to-coach ratio, a strength and conditioning information session, video analysis information as well as skill instruction and interaction with current UT baseball players and coaches.
