Kai MacFarlane '25 Recruiting Profile

I'm a dedicated and hard working student athlete who loves God, family and the game of baseball. I'm extremely grateful for this game and want to play it for as long as possible and succeed at the highest level. I'm willing to do whatever it takes to achieve my goals and I'm always open to criticism to help take my game to the next level. I play the game with hard work, determination, and putting my team first - and I also smile a lot. 

I've been blessed to have the opportunity to play in pressured situations like starting in the gold medal game of the 2023 18U AAA Canadian Nationals as a first year player. I take pride in being a strong overall player but also being smart about the game and doing many of the often- overlooked things, such as getting in good counts, doing what's best for my team and understanding situations that may not be as common. Whoever takes a chance on me will have the hardest working player in collegiate sports. I understand that this process is a marathon, not a sprint, and I'm ready for it.
