I have been playing baseball for as long as I can remember. Ever since tee-ball, I have fallen in love with the game of baseball. Not only that but playing in the youth leagues it has always been my dream to play collegiate baseball. I know that playing college baseball would truly be a blessing and would be completely life changing.
As a player, I react quickly off the bat in the field with the ability to read the ball, have the ability to hit for contact and put the ball in play while getting on-base, I use my speed to my advantage stealing bases whenever I get the opportunity to, and I am a strong armed infielder. I get along with teammates well and I am always there for them when the need encouragement. Not only that, I am a really coachable player that likes to hear different perspectives and improve my game. Also, I strive to be the hardest worker on the field and the hardest working recruit that you have ever seen.
I work year round on my baseball skills. During the spring and summer, I am on my school team and play club competing against other high level teams while in the fall and spring, I practice and get instruction to refine my skills and stay on my game. I manage a healthy diet and a steady workout schedule. I am constantly working out in the off-season to gain and maintain strength while keeping my body at peak performance in season. In the summer, I have participated in club teams for years and keep my body in shape for next season.
In the classroom, me and my family value education and academics highly. I study hard to get and maintain a high GPA. I challenge myself in school taking challenging courses like honors classes and AP classes. Every semester in my high school career, I have achieved honor roll. Outside of school, I spend time with friends and volunteer at camps and clinics.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the baseball field. I am open to all options and overall want to find the school that best fits me at the highest level of competition. I hope to become a great role model to my family, my community and to make my parents proud.
