Personal Statement
Ever since my former years in Europe (7 years in Rome, Italy and 7 in London, England), I have always dreamed about pursuing baseball at the highest possible level. I would watch as many MLB games as I could no matter the time difference, often watching during the later hours of the night. I worked endlessly in countries where the sport was not extremely popular to get better and prove that I may become one of the players I constantly watching on TV. I moved to New Jersey my freshman year with the possibility of becoming a collegiate athlete. I value academics and have been always focusing on improving my grades just as much as improving my game. I stay committed to my game, never letting the hours of hard work go to waste. I have always been in a competitive environment, constantly proving to my self and others that I can play with the highest level of competition. With my hard work ethic, I have evolved in many cases as a leader, showing the way for others to follow. I know for sure that at any level or program I compete at I will work my hardest and be a valuable contributor to the team.
