I have always worked extremely hard both in school and on the baseball field to achieve a level of success. I value both academics and athletics and am looking for a college baseball program that will allow me to balance both at the next level. On the diamond, I take pride in my ability to be an intelligent player and have control over the mental side of the game. In order to perform at a high level a ball player needs to be smart and prepared for whatever play may happen - expect the unexpected. I know the strike zone and am smart at the plate, always maintaining a high on base percentage.
I try to lead by example every time I take the field by performing well and maintaining a positive attitude. I have experience playing many positions, which has enabled me to better understand the game and be prepared to make the right play and maximize my performance. I mostly play catcher and third base, but I've also had good success as a pitcher and at first base.
Coaches have always commented that I bring a good attitude and willingness to learn and adapt, while putting the team first. I put in the extra work with a strength and conditioning program, and in the off season I'm in the weight room as well as working on my hitting, defense, and pitching. I would be honored to have the opportunity to play baseball in college, and would continue to work my tail off to be the best possible player and teammate.
