Jasper Lea '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jasper Lea and I'm a hardworking baseball player. I'm truly dedicated to this sport. I'm an athlete who knows the game of baseball very well. My most important accomplishments were making my high-schools varsity baseball team as a freshman and being our teams most improved player in 2021. I am also an accomplished percussionist and have the privilege of studying advanced music at my high school while pursuing high school sports.  

Knowing that I'm capable of playing baseball in college and beyond makes me more passionate for this sport. What I can offer to a team is the promise to always work hard and never give up as well as putting up high level numbers. I am always the first to get to the field and the last to leave.

When it comes to choosing what school I would like to go to, I’d like to stay flexible. I have a preference for Southern and Northeastern states, but I am very open to going anywhere. I hope to find a college that fits me best, where I can receive a good education and have opportunity to make it to the next level.

My top two choices for a major as of right now are either Music or Sports Management. However, my major may change over the course of the rest of my high school career.

My realistic athletic goals are to continue playing the sport I love at a high competitive level. Another goal of mine is to make an impact on the team and to be an example to younger players.  

If my younger self could see me, I would want him to think that I left it all out there and that I played my hardest all of the time.
