Joseph Ilacqua Jr. '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Joseph John Ilacqua Jr. I have been playing baseball for 13 years. Baseball has helped me through so much in my life. I've struggled with depression, and baseball was the place I turned to. I am coming off of a surgery for my right arm, another hardship I've experienced: I had a cyst in my right humerus, the doctor went in and drained the humorous filling it with bone cement. The surgery and recovery was difficult, but it only grew my passion for baseball, and I persevered through it. Although I have always been a hard working athlete and student on and off the field, in and out of the classroom, that work ethic continues to grow as I do. I am open to tips and pointers to improve as a baseball player and as a young man. I hope to play college baseball at a competitive level. I'm an asset because of how versatile a player I am: I can pitch, as well as play anywhere in the outfield. I am a good teammate, I'm uplifting,encouraging, funny, and I put my Brothers (teammates) before myself. I'm excited to hear from you.
