Personal Statement

I have loved playing baseball my entire life. When I was younger I would stay outside for hours playing catch and hitting off a tee. I am driven to get better each day and still have that mentality. I have always been passionate about baseball but as I grow older I am learning that improving my skills motivates me every day to work harder. In the off season I focus on getting stronger, perfecting my swing, practicing to improve my footwork speed and fine tuning my pitching mechanics.

Although baseball takes up a large part of my life, I am still focused on my academics. I diligently complete homework and extra credit assignments, I also attend extra help for additional support.
