2023 Highlights Personal Statement
My name is Jackson Berger, and I have been playing baseball since I was 4 years old. Baseball has been my favorite sport for the past 5 years, and I will do all I can to be able to play at the next level. When I step between the white lines, baseball is the only thing on my mind. During the offseason, I am busy playing basketball and training for the upcoming baseball season. I am always looking forward to the start of the school and travel seasons. The diamond is my favorite place to be.
You will never have to worry about me in the classroom, as I have a 4.0 GPA (4.395 weighted) and have never made anything other than all A's since elementary school. I would play anywhere in the country and at any level, because my #1 goal is to be able to continue to play the sport I love as long as I can. I am always working on strengthening my arm, fixing my pitching and hitting mechanics, and getting reps in on defense. I enjoy the process of playing, practicing, training, working with teammates and coaches, and getting my work done in the classroom. I look forward to the opportunities I will have as a student-athlete in the future.
