Andrew Davis '15 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I was little baseball has been my passion.  I've always been taught to give everything I go at my all, 110% on and off the field.  I've always strived to work my hardest and do my best where ever and when ever I can.  When it comes to school, the field, the weight room, etc.. I always continue to push my self to do better and take it that one extra step.  Whether it's to stay after school to work on a project ahead of time, or it's to stay after practice to throw a bullpen or take some more cuts I'm always trying to give a little more than the person beside me. One compliment I have gotten from every coach I have worked with is that I am extremely coachable and will always listen when being told I am doing something wrong and how to fix it.

I also can be thankful for my parents and other great role models who have taught me what it means to be a leader.  Even when things might not be going good I will always be the one person to pick my fellow teammates up and continue cheering and screaming for my team trying to draw out the extra bit of fight.  I'm not just a leader on the field but I'm also a leader in my community.  I am a member of the Anchor Club, National Honor Society, Presbyterian Youth Council (PYC), etc... In these organizations I've done everything from leading youth camps to helping in the soup kitchen. 

Last but not least I believe I couldn't do any of this without God, and I think him for the opportunity and talent he's given me to play this great game of baseball and that's given me the opportunity to do one of my life long dreams of playing college baseball.
