Personal Statement
I started when I was only 7 years old playing tee ball and have loved the game ever since. My dad, who introduced me to the game, was always an influence on me and continues to push me to be the best I can be. Ever since I started playing baseball, I have loved the game and have never stopped enjoying it.
I have always worked at becoming the best player I can be and I am proud to say that I am able to see my progression on becoming a better baseball player. I have had many problems along the way, such as tearing my UCL and breaking my wrist. However, no matter what happened nothing has stopped me from continuing to work hard and reach my goals.
I started playing school ball in middle school and have continued playing into high school. In 9th grade I played on the JV team in which we ended up going undefeated that season. I began my sophomore year on Varsity where our season was cut short due to Covid-19. Despite our season ending shortly after it began, I was blessed to get a chance to play in every game. In addition to playing school ball, I have also played travel baseball since I was nine years old.
Academically, I have earned straight A's throughout high school and am taking honors as well as AP classes. Outside of baseball, I enjoy fishing, pickup basketball, hanging out with friends and traveling with my family. I hope I will be able to keep playing baseball at the next level and become the best player I can be. I know it will take hard work and dedication and I am ready to put that in.
