As a 17-year-old baseball player, I am passionate about the game and dedicated to improving my skills both on and off the field. I practice on the weekends outside of scheduled team practices because I want to get better.
Baseball has been a part of my life since I started playing baseball when I was 5 years old when I was in foster care. I have always loved the challenge and excitement of the sport.
Baseball opened me to many communities that I am stil a part of today. Baseball was a fun outlet for my energy. My confidence grew as a child with the success I had on and off the baseball field.
I play first base and catcher. I can play anywhere on the field as needed. I have pitched but am careful with protecting my arm and focusing on first base and catching.
I work hard in the classroom, weightroom and on the baseball field. I am proud to be on A/B Honor Roll every semester of my High School career. I am especially proud of my straight As the second semester of my sophmore year. I have taken the PRE ACT and achieved 17 on composite score. I am studying for the ACT/SAT to improve my score.
I will be the first in my birth family to attend and graduate college. My adopted Mom played Women's Lacrosse at the University of Maryland College Park and her team won the national championship back-to-back in 1995 and 1996. She is a college lacrosse official which has provided me with the opportunity to visit DI, DII and DII schools from an early age.
I am currently interested in studying Sports Management, Sports Marketing, Business Management or Psychology.
